The Department of Agriculture, Amethi, has invited applications from agriculture graduates and qualified administrators for the Agrijunction Scheme under the Swavalamban Yojana for the financial year 2025-26. The last date to submit applications is July 15, 2025.
Deputy Director of Agriculture, Satyendra Kumar, stated that under this scheme, Agricultural Knowledge Centers—also referred to as One Stop Shops—will be established to offer farmers a wide range of services and resources under one roof. These centers will supply essential agricultural inputs such as seeds, fertilizers, bio-fertilizers, myconutrients, pesticides, and provide technical guidance to farmers.
Eligibility criteria include:
- The applicant must be a resident agriculture graduate or trained individual from the Amethi district.
- The maximum age limit is 40 years, with a 5-year age relaxation for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and women candidates.
The total project cost is set at Rs. 6.00 lakh, out of which:
- Rs. 5.00 lakh will be available as a loan,
- Rs. 1.00 lakh (17% of the total cost) will be provided as reimbursement to the beneficiary,
- The loan will be interest-free for 3 years, with repayments facilitated through participating banks under the scheme.
Additional benefits include:
- 50% reimbursement of rent for the Agrijunction business premises, up to a maximum of Rs. 1,000 per month.
- Grants for licensing fees and support for agricultural investment supply, subject to the completion of the mandatory training period.
Interested candidates must submit their application form along with necessary documents including:
- Educational qualification certificate,
- Aadhar card,
- Bank passbook,
- Residence proof, and
- Caste certificate (if applicable).
The application form is available free of cost at the office of the Deputy Director of Agriculture, Amethi.
Deputy Director Kumar urged eligible agriculture graduates in the district to take advantage of this opportunity and submit their complete application by July 15, 2025, to ensure timely consideration and training under the scheme.
